Gambling addiction is a disorder that can be overcome or treated. About 2 to 4 percent of Americans are victims of an active gambling problem. They borrow money or take credits. They are more disturbed by losing. They keep on playing in order that they will win and clear all their debts. Third comes the desperation phase, where the gambler starts hating being at home. They often start blaming other for the addiction and conditions start deteriorating.
